Stonehenge Trek for the Alzheimer’s Society

We are very proud to tell you that Claire Foster, our receptionist, will be taking part in the Stonehenge Trek, a twenty-six mile walk, for the Alzheimer’s Society on 2nd September with two of her friends, Clare and Andy Walton.   If anyone is interested in donating, there is a Just Giving page set up by Clare Walton, at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/clare-walton4 or donations can be brought into the surgery.

Non-English Speakers

These fact sheets have been written to explain the role of UK health services, the National Health Service (NHS), to newly-arrived individuals seeking asylum. It covers issues such as the role of GPs, their function as gatekeepers to the health services, how to register and how to access emergency services.

Special care has been taken to ensure that information is given in clear language, and the content and style has been tested with user groups.
