Please note the dispensary will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 22nd February due to Covid Clinics now being held at the surgery. Sorry for any inconvenience.
TO ALL OUR PATIENTS
The Covid Vaccination Programme, in our locality started in early January 2021, where Tolsey Surgery patients were being invited, by age cohort, to attend for a vaccination at The Malmesbury Primary Care Centre.
This has been very successful and we have received many glowing comments on the service provided from our patients..
We now have access to the Astra Zeneca (Oxford) vaccine, which is transportable and easier to manage clinically and therefore from 10th February 2021, clinics will be held at The Tolsey Surgery.
This will be during the week from mid February and some Saturdays, subject to the ongoing supply of vaccines.
Our house bound patients will be contacted shortly and home visits arranged.
As before – PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE SURGERY, WE WILL CONTACT YOU and ask you to attend.
Be ready for your call!
Thank you for being patient with us, you will be aware the programme is being rolled out nationally and to date with much success.
You may also receive an invite from NHS England and you can of course attend the venue they offer.
The Partners – The Tolsey Surgery
WE DO NOT HAVE ANY FURTHER FLU VACCINE AVAILABLE AT THE TOLSEY SURGERY. IF YOU ARE AGED BETWEEN 50 AND 64 YEARS OLD AND WISH TO RECEIVE THIS THEN PLEASE CONTACT A LOCAL PHARMACY WHO MAY STILL HAVE SOME FLU VACCINE AVAILABLE.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION.
All adults and children over the age of 12 SHOULD wear a mask or face covering when attending the surgery, with effect from Friday 24th July 2020
(This is from guidance received via NHS England – Public Health)
Appointments During the Coronavirus Situation
Due to the current coronavirus situation we are not booking routine or online appointments. Please telephone 01666 840270 if you feel you need to be seen. All telephone calls will be triaged by the doctor or nurse and you will be seen if it is felt to be appropriate.
Welcome to the Tolsey Surgery
Our aim at The Tolsey Surgery is to offer a personalised service for all our patients.
We make a point of getting to know each patient, and the GP's try wherever possible to be available for consultation with their patients, whether by telephone or face to face contact.
We offer true continuity of care which is at the heart of "old fashioned" general practice, whilst embracing the essential changes that are a necessary part of working in primary health care.
The Tolsey has had many uses in its long history and sits in a prime position in Sherston High Street.
The premises consist of two floors. The entrance door is wide enough for wheelchairs and the downstairs cloakroom is designed for disabled patients. There is a downstairs consulting room for disabled patients and a chairlift for those patients who have a difficulty with stairs. Ask for assistance when needed and a member of staff will be pleased to help.
